My Vision

More than 31 years in the audio business, at facilities large, small, and in between, has taught me everything about how studios make money and why they charge what they do. When I built this facility Therefore in 2013, I knew there was an unoccupied niche in post production.

What I set out to do was offer a place capable of doing the same kinds of work I’d done elsewhere, without the standard overhead associated with running a recording studio in a major urban centre. I started off with the gear, then, when I realized people were really interested in my business model, a professional control room and booth were constructed under my direction. That was 2015 and today, I’m really proud of how 217 Audio has worked out. All sorts of projects are brought here, sometimes from other countries, and everyone leaves happy. That's what really matters.

In recent years, I've taken my experiences and put them to print on production-expert.com and other websites and I've been continually working with major software developers to create or refine their products.  An equal opportunity employer, I've also taken my immigrant's perspective and applied it faithfully, offering training and guidance to people across all walks of life, anywhere in the world. Some of my projects have been international in nature and I always welcome these new opportunities for collaboration and to make new contacts.
